Yesoul Bike Review: The Budget-Friendly Peloton Alternative That I Love -

If you’ve been eyeing the Peloton but balking at the price tag, you’re not alone. It’s actually insane to me that a bike can cost that much?!

I’m all about investing in exercise equipment that you’ll actually use and love. But I do think it’s good to compare options and not always buy the most “trendy” option. Especially in today’s economy when everything is getting more and more expensive.

Good news is I found the perfect Peloton alternative that’s essentially the same bike but HALF the price.

After researching I ended up choosing the Yesoul G1M bike a much more affordable indoor cycling bike that gives you the guided-class experience without the premium price tag.

Now that i’ve had the bike for over a year with consistent use by both me AND my husband I can honestly say that all of these concerns have been put to rest. It doesn’t feel cheap and it certainly doesn’t look cheap. (Literally looks exactly like Peloton!) It doesn’t wobble at all, it’s a smooth ride, even a year later too. It wasn’t hard to assemble either, but definitely easier with two people.

If you just want a solid, affordable bike to get sweaty at home, Yesoul is more than enough. That’s why I prefer it over Peloton. I enjoy riding but wouldn’t consider myself a serous rider.

The app doesn’t feel as posh as some, but the overall quality of the classes are still good with a variety of levels and intensity. I also enjoy riding while watching YouTube or my favorite show. Weighing in at 77 pounds, the Yesoul G1M isn’t too heavy (it has wheels to easily move it) making it ideal for home use. We’ve moved it around our gym a few times now and it’s no issue. We keep ours in the corner of our gym, but it could easily fit in a small bedroom or tucked away in a living room.

Its compact design doesn’t sacrifice stability, and it’s suitable for users up to 6’2″ tall and 265 pounds. My husband is 6’2″ and he finds it comfortable and loves it for his warm ups since he’s not into spinning. The seat is easy to adjust as well!

Who is this bike best for?

This is just my opinion as someones who has used the Yesoul G1M bike for over a year now.

Final Thoughts: Is It Still Worth It a Year Later?

Yes! And I honestly didn’t expect to love it this much as a casual rider.

A year in, I’m still using my Yesoul G1M regularly. It’s quiet, stable, and easy to hop on for a quick ride which, for me, is what actually makes a piece of equipment “worth it.” If it’s convenient, I use it. And if I use it, it’s a good investment!

Is it a Peloton? No.
But it also doesn’t come with a $1,500+ price tag or a expensive membership.
